Olympic Medals: Bronze Inspired Makeup!

Did anyone else see the opening ceremony? I thought it was more than fantastic!
I decided to write a series of posts that are about makeup items inspired by the olympics medals. For the first post of the series, I decided to base all the makeup off of the bronze medal.
Here are some bronze medal inspired makeup!

  1. Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick Compact (I love how you use this compact as a blush, bronzer, or the lightest color can be used as a highlighter!)
  2. OPI Polish in "Pros and Bronze"
  3. Buxom Waterproof Smoky Eye Stick in "Brass Knuckles"
  4. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Bronze"
  5. Stila Eye Shadow Trio in "Bronze Glow"
  6. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in "Lucky" (This color would look good on any skin tone.
  7. NYC Bronzing Face Powder in "Sunny." Also in my . post)
  8. Shiseido Luminizing Lip Gloss in "Brown Sugar"
  9. Lancôme 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in "Bronze Amour"
I hope this was helpful!
Thank you for visiting!

Get the Look: Sarah Hyland Seventeen Magazine Cover Look

I loved Sarah Hyland's look for the seventeen cover! It was edgy and sophisticated. I noticed that her eye look incorporated navy blues and that she kept her blush and lips fairly natural. Here's my take on her look!

Shiseido Cream Eye Color in "Angel"
Apply a navy/peacock blue color as a base for the rest of the eyeshadows.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Evidence"
Blend a navy blue into the crease and outer corner

Make Up For Ever in "81"
Take a dark navy blue, and blend a little into the very outer corner and use it to line the lower lash line.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Virgin"
Blend a pale beige into the inner corner of the lid and tear duct area.

Take a black eyeliner and place it on your waterline and tightline.

Apply a brown eyeliner to the upper lashline (this was the same eyeliner she used on the cover)

Curl eyelashes and apply a black mascara

NYX Cream Blush in "Natural" (Photo Credit)
Apply a natural blush for that subtle glow.

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in "Peony"
Apply a natural lipgloss (this is the same lipgloss that she was wearing on the cover)

I hope this helped!
