DIY / MARBLE LAPTOP

photos by me

Hey there, peeps.
The blogosphere was full of everything marble for the last weeks. You could spot marble backgrounds, marble clothes (read my post here), marble shoes, marble phonecases and those marble laptop cases.
Definitely another trend I love. More and more little marble things found their way to me and last week I decided to make myself a marble macbook.
I bought one of those printed adhesive foils with the marble look at a hardware store. At home I roughly measured the size of my Macbook Air and got myself a utility knife. The rest is just a little carefulness, accuracy and time. It really is not hard to do. Just be careful not to scratch your laptop with the knife, especially when you cut out the apple-logo.
Looks nice, right? I love it!
(Oh, and you can peel it off once you get tired of it or it is not that neat anymore)

COOKIE IN A JAR

 all photos by me

Hey there peeps!
You are invited to a friend or a birthdayparty and you really have no idea what you should bring? I think we all have been in that situation right? Here is a cute idea!
Its a homemade-"convenience blend".
Basically its: COOKIES IN A JAR!
Yes, you read right! I knoow! I mean everybody loves cookies. And if you dont: What are you weirdo?
All you have to do to indulge in them is adding an egg and butter and put them in the oven. Done. (So yes, its also a good gift for the not so baking-talented among us.)

This one on the pictures is my first try and goes to my stepmother. What do you think? Looks lovely right?
And there are such a lot variation of these. You can do them with your favourite brownie recipe, the oatmeal cookies you like so much or even mix it up with some dried fruit or candy.
Let your imagination run wild!

Happy humpday everybody!
