The renowned Pirelli Calendar is famous for it's images of nude fashionmodels.But last year American photographer Steve McCurry, who is known for his ''Afghan Girl'' has approached it differently than his predecessor, Mario Testino.
For the Pirelli Calendar 2012, 12 models striped such as Kate Moss, Joan Smalls and Lara Stone stripped for Testino.
Steve McCurry was inspired by Brazil. He shot the images in Rio de Janeiro.
He wanted to show that women can be sexy even if they're fully-clothed.
Besides models, that calendar included the regular Brazilian person and their street art.
All the models that were featured had in common that they all are involved in humanitarian or charitable work. Click here for those images.
For the Pirelli Calendar 2014 photographers Patrick Demarchelier and Peter Lindbergh teamed up to shoot a handful of supermodels.
This 50th anniversary calendar will feature famous models.
