Social-media has become an important medium for brands and models. Brands use social-media networks such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to engage their customers. Marc Jacobs brought this to a new level by opening a pop-up shop during Fashion Week, which is very common. However, at the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop you can pay with a Tweet or an Instagram or Facebookpost, which costs nothing for costumers but however it's a marketing success for Marc Jacobs!

And now social-media has become also a platform for models to take you behind-the-scenes and let you take a look at a model's life. It seems that your ''online social status'' could book you jobs, ''people look to book models for jobs that have a lot of followers on their social media for business-sales'' Jamie Bochert said in a video of W Magazine's exclusive series about models and social media. Karlie Kloss says that sometimes she feels obligated to update consistently, ''it's almost like homework''. I'm actually glad that models take the opportunity to use social-media, it gives them a face and a platform. They take you behind-the-scenes to see places you might never witness yourself.

W Mag also did a spread called "The Perfect Ten" with ten of these supermodels and social-media stars. Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Candice Swanepoel, Edita Vilkeviciute, Jourdan Dunn, Lais Ribeiro, Karlie Kloss and Isabeli Fontana were all shot by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Mr. Edward Enninful himself! And it is in the W Magazine March 2014 ''Social Media Issue''.

W Magazine has also listed a trivia about the models on their website. The basics/vital (age, height, measurements), Social-media stats and even the numbers the models walked The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show are listed. Click here for the list. Beyonce just released her fifth studio album as suprise today! Yay! The visual album is exclusivelya available on iTunes and contains 14 songs and 17 videos. 

Yoncé is one of those videos and at the moment my fave!! The video includes, besides B's new alter-ego Yoncé, also supermodels Jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman and Joan Smalls! Jourdan Dunn is also in the XO video!

Rihanna X River Island Fall 2013 Sneak Preview

As you all might know, Rihanna's collaboration with River Island was sold out in a few hours.
All the disappointed fans were delighted after she announced the collection would be restocked a  few months later.
Now after all this success a new collection is coming! The Fall 2013 collection will consist of bomber jacks, (cropped) sweaters, bags, heals, bags and baseball jackets.
I'd say the collection is feminine combined with gangsta, just like Rihanna herself. And I'm really liking it!
This collections is big, 80 items will be for sale on the 12th of September in stores and on RiverIsland.com .

Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo Autumn/Winter 2013

I'm one of those girls who never wears heels. I'd break both ankles, that's how clumsy I am.
But these Jimmy Choo's are marvelous, I am in love!
Those red suede Dane suede lattice peep toe booties are my fave!

The Autumn/Winter '13 collection is a great collection. Nicole Kidman is the face of Jimmy Choo's A/W '13 collection.
Nicole wears a red wig with a bob-line and a bob, eventhough it's a wig, it look great on her.
The ad prints includes a mysterious ad campaign video which you can watch below.

The campaign video begins with Nicole casually coming out of a cabriolet with Jimmy Choo's Talma, a pair of green military inspired ankle boots and with Ally, a black deerskin shoulder bag with handcuff chain.
It's followed by scenes of her walking through a house and getting ready.
She finishes up on a couch where you can see the detailing of the shoes.

Doutzen Kroes the New Face of the H&M's 2013 Summer Campaign!

Doutzen Kroes is the new face of the Hennes and Maurits summer 2013 Campaign.
This is her first time working with H&M because of her Angel contract with Victoria's Secret she wasn't able to work with them.
''Everyone who works with H&M is so nice, they gave me the feeling that I was part of the 'family''' she told Vogue.nl
Terry Richardson shot Doutzen for the Swedish retailer in the beautiful Mexico.
With Beyoncé (Swimwear), Vanessa Paradis, (Conscious Collection), Joan Smalls, Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixson and Liu Wen (New Icons Collection) and the supermodel Gisele Bundchen (Fall 2013) it seems like this year H&M has listed lots of famous face for their campaigns!
I love seeing all these great faces representing an accessible fashion retailer.

The summer-collection of H&M consists of cropped tops, denim shorts, brightly colored swimsuits and short summerdresses. Take a look at the the trailer above.
H&M will release the official images tomorrow.

Rihanna for River Island - Summer 2013

As you all might know, Rihanna designed a collection for the British retailer River Island which she revealed during the London Fashion Week.
The collection was already sold out in a few hours, leaving lots of fans disappointed.
But don't you worry! RiRi has been designing a new collection which will be online (and in stores) on May 25th!
This collection is the second of the four collections she will be designing for River Island this year.
The summer collections includes some pieces from the previous collection as well as new designed garments.
It consist mostly of dresses, skirts and tie-dye and ''timeless floral prints''.
Rihanna got inspired by her crew and her own style as well, she wanted that everyone could wear the pieces, but also keeping the style close to her own, being kinda ''selfish''.

'Once Upon A Time' by Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld created a 18-minute short film to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Chanel's first boutique.
In 1913 the founder of Chanel, Gabrielle Chanel, opened the first boutique in Deauville, France.
Chanel sold hats, jackets, sweaters and the sailor blouse, the marinière which were all made of humble fabrics such as jersey and tricot.
Keira Knightley stars in the film as the late Coco Chanel, by her side she has the French actress Clotilde Hesme, who plays Adrienne Chanel.
Stella Tennant, Tallula Harlech, Baptiste Giabiconi, Lindsey Wixon, Saskia de Brauw, Brad Kroenig and his son, Hudson all make an appearance in the short film.
The film follows Gabrielle and her sister, Adrienne from the start of Chanel.
Slowly the costumers become fond of Chanel and its modern chic style.
And in the end, model Saskia de Brauw says, ''I wonder, what it will be in 100 years from now..''

He also asks´The all the way Puerto Rican´ Joan Smalls, the very down-to-earth dutchie Daphne Groeneveld, the stylish Chinese Liu Wen and the laid-back American Lindsey Wixson about their personal style and what makes someone an 'Icon'.
'The New Icons' collection  based on the girls' personal 'model of-duty' style will be launched soon.

Prada was making us quite curious by releasing previews of their campagne advert for the 'Prada Candy' fragrance.
Léa Seydoux is starred in Prada's first Prada Candy campagnefilm in 2011 and now she also stars in the new   film for its new fragrance, Prada Candy L'Eau.
Léa has the roll of Candy, and the actors Peter Gadiot and Rodolphe Pauly (Julius and Jim) are trying to win her heart.
It's a very romantic and quite quirky film.

Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Film by James Lima and Katie Grand

James Lima and the editor in chief of Love Magazine, Katie Grand have shot a fashion film for the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2013 Women's Collection designed by Marc Jacobs.
The film includes shome footage backstage of the show which was in Paris for the Paris Fashion Week.
Edie Campbell, Isabeli Fontana, Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, Lily McMenamy, Magdalena Frackowiak and our Dutch Saskia de Brauw were playing a French women who enjoys the nightlife.
Katie Grand said that for the collection she and Marc Jacobs wanted to create a collection for a Française (a French women) who loves the French nightlife.
The models wander around the dark streets of Pont Neuf at night.
Strip down in front of mysterious cars, hanging out by the car windows and step in.

In their fourth and final video of the Angels & Artists series the Angels Behati Prinsloo and Erin Heatherton are wearing the latest arrivals from Victoria's Secret Swim 2013 collection.

Bruce Weber brings quite a varied cast together.
Models Alessandra Ambrosio, Irina Shayk, Kiara Kabukuru, reality tv star Big Ang, dancer Lil Buck and the Youtube sensation Carrie the Dancing Dog for the video entitled 'Besos en Zanzibar'.
In 'Besos en Zanzibar' the group is jamming on the beach, riding around in cars and hanging out in the yard.

“It’s so easy to ignore what’s right in front of us sometimes. I wanted to create a song and visual that addressed my everyday concerns of life as I know it in the world that we live in,” Miguel told Hypebeast as he premiered the music video of his song ''Candles in the Sun''.
It's a black and white video which is shot in New York City.
The music videos touches on topics like religion, violence and government policies.

Rihanna for River Island!

Yes! Finally the collection has been displayed at the London Fashion just a few minutes ago!

River Island gave their fans the oppurtunity to still watch the show from our seats home on their facebookpage.

I love the collection! It's bold, it's badass, it's Rihanna!

The collection consisted of high-low dresses, colored and printed shirts, skirts and dresses with high slits, a white neat baseball jacket and more fly pieces.

I can't wait till we can shop the collection and we can! Not yet though.

The collection is availlable in stores and online on the 5th of march.

The first you notice is that there is no catwalk.

There are boxy room thingy's where the models walk and pose.

It was very organised and it looked nice! It was something different.

The show finally started and the models were walking through the rooms and posing in every room.

It was organised in a very smart way, everytime a new model walks in, the models walk to another room.

After the models have been to each room, the models with matching outfits pose in the rooms near each other.

You might have read previously that Victoria's Secret released their annual highly anticipated catalog, The 2013 Victoria's Secret Swim Catalog with Angel Candice Swanepoel gracing the cover.
