Rihanna for M.A.C

A few months ago I announced earlier that Rihanna was working on yet again a new collaboration.
She made a collection with M.A.C Cosmetics consisting of 31 products ranging from brushes to lipsticks to blushes.
This was the first time M.A.C is collaborating with a celebrity on a breadth of products rather than a one-off.
The four collections called 'RiRi hearts M.A.C' will consist of 31 Products. And will be released soon!
The lipstick, with the iconic M.A.C color, Ruby Woo which she turned in Riri Woo, went on sale first.
On the 2th of May Rihanna announced via Instagram  that her ''very first, very own, signature red lipstick'' was available exclusively to order on www.maccosmetics.com and within three hours the lipstick was sold out!
That's what you call a successful collab! 
You can sign-up on the website to be one of the fist to shop when it returns in June and they will also release it with the new collaboration with Rihanna.

Daphne Groeneveld by Nathaniel Brown in ''Funny Lips''

Daphne Groeneveld is Dior's face for the 'Dior Addict Gloss Line'.
For the campaign Nathaniel Brown has directed an advert featuring the Dutch supermodel.
The advert which includes images photographed by Steven Meisel is a burst of fresh spring colors and gloss.
The lipglosses are all candy colored with bubble-gum pink and yummy sherbert shades.

M.A.C Spring 2013 Inspired by Cupcakes!

Besides being known as a top notch cosmetic line, M.A.C is also very known for their creativeness for their differeent collections.
For their latest collection M.A.C was inspired by cupcakes, who doesn't love these delicious treats?!
The collection consisting of paint pots, pastel lipsticks, face powders and lip-glosses are called 'Baking Beauties'.
It's perfect for Spring and very feminine,
The products are coming out this Spring and in The Netherlands it's availlable from May 2013 exclusively in 'de Bijenkorf'.

The EU Bans Make-Up Tested on Animals!

Many make-up brands use ingredients for their products which are tested on animals.
Yes, not a nice thought right? So the EU (The European Union) has decided to ban cosmetic products which contain ingredients tested on animals.
Consumers are unlikely going to notice the changes because the products containing ingredients that where tested on animals before the ban can remain on the shelves.
The new 'cruelty-free' cosmetic products who will be added to collections in stores soon.

Great news for the animals isn't!

Rihanna for M.A.C

Rihanna just released ad campaign images of her collection for River Island and showed the collection at the London Fashion Week and she already has announced to be teaming up with M.A.C Cosmetics.
''When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind is M.A.C,'' Rihanna told WWD. ''Whatever color you want, it's like, 'let's go to M.A.C'. I've been using M.A.C on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a incredible brand.''
RiRi Woo will the first launched product. The lipstick inspired by Rihanna's favorite red M.A.C color, the Ruby Woo, will be in stores at the same time as her Diamonds Tour Concert on the 4th and 5th of May.
This is the first time M.A.C is collaborating with a celebrity on a breadth of products rather than a one-off.

Lancôme Make-up Collaborates with Lanvin

The French luxury cosmetics house Lancôme will be collaborate with Lanvin.
Alber Elbaz, the brands designer will be designing the limited edition make-up line.
Looking at the promo video, I think it will be a very lovely line.
''Alber Elbaz is, without a doubt, one of the world’s most influential fashion designers. But beyond that, he is also the most talented. His sense of luxury, his vision of femininity and that hint of audacity resonate perfectly with the new values of Maison Lancôme. We are extremely proud and happy that he is set to channel his universe into the world of make-up for the very first time.'' Said Youcef Alber, the International president of Lancôme about their choice of their collaboration partner, Alber Elbaz.
The collection will be out on the 15th of June this year.

MAC Strength Campaign with Bodybuilder Jelena Abbou

Female body builder Jelena Abbou is the new face of M.A.C's new collection called ''Strength''.
And the bodyboulder does fit with the title.
The Serbian-American bodyboulder and is gracing the ad campaign in a shiny black gown.
She is indeed striking a very powerful pose.
She has a body which is very different from what most people think is the ideal body and what we like to see on campaigns.
And I think that's what makes this a striking image.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Macaron

Estée Lauder's new spring nailpolish collection is inspired by the sweet pastel colors of the cookies called Macarons.

These limited edition nail polish will be introduced the 1st of January.

The Estée Lauder Pure Color Macaron collection includes five pastel shades called Absinthe, Coral Cult, Dilettante France, Lilac Leather and Narcissist.

The Maybelline 2013 Calendar

The Maybelline Calendar is all about beauty, colors, trends and of course make-up.

They were inspired by the New York scenes and you can see that in their images with models being shot in typical New York Themes.
