Rihanna for Balmain's S/S 2014 Campaign

After Lady Gaga for Versace and recently Erykah Badu for Givenchy, creative director Olivier Rousteing of Balmain decided that none other than Rihanna was perfect for the campaign of his Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The campaign images were shot by Inez and Vinoodh and Mel Ottenberg styled her in the two looks.

He posted some behind-the-scenes images on his Instagram page saying that she is '..more than an icon''. Not only is she his inspiration but also for an entire generation, I agree. To have Rihanna as his campaignstar is a dream come true for the young designer. "In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world," Olivier Rousteing told WWD. "When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete!"

After Rihanna visited Olivier's studio in Paris a few months ago, I was actually expecting a collaboration or something between the two. Rousteing admires her, so I saw this coming and I think it's perfect! Her wavy c

Rihanna X River Island Fall 2013 Sneak Preview

As you all might know, Rihanna's collaboration with River Island was sold out in a few hours.
All the disappointed fans were delighted after she announced the collection would be restocked a  few months later.
Now after all this success a new collection is coming! The Fall 2013 collection will consist of bomber jacks, (cropped) sweaters, bags, heals, bags and baseball jackets.
I'd say the collection is feminine combined with gangsta, just like Rihanna herself. And I'm really liking it!
This collections is big, 80 items will be for sale on the 12th of September in stores and on RiverIsland.com .

Pharrell Williams and Erin Wasson Will be in Rihanna's 'Styled to Rock'

Rihanna has previously been on a British reality show called 'Styled to Rock', it was then hosted by designer Henry Holland and the Girls Alouds songstress, Nicola Roberts.
Unfortunately, the show hasn't been a succes,, now Rihanna has decided to create a new 'Styled to Rock'.

The show will now be hosted in The States and it's just announced that Pharrell Williams and Erin Wasson will be mentoring twelve designers-to-be for twelve episodes, as they create an outfit for a celebrity.
Pharrell and Erin are perfect for the show!
Pharrell has already quite the experience, his creative pursuits in the fashion industry include his own clothing line Billionaire Boys Club, Billionaire Girls Club, Ice Cream, and Bee Line.
He has also collaborated with Moncler and Louis Vuitton.
Pharrell's unique artistry and his commitment to individuality combined with Erin's approach to fashion and Rihanna's vision for the show the designers will gain incredible experience and will be challenged in new ways!

Rihanna for River Island - Summer 2013

As you all might know, Rihanna designed a collection for the British retailer River Island which she revealed during the London Fashion Week.
The collection was already sold out in a few hours, leaving lots of fans disappointed.
But don't you worry! RiRi has been designing a new collection which will be online (and in stores) on May 25th!
This collection is the second of the four collections she will be designing for River Island this year.
The summer collections includes some pieces from the previous collection as well as new designed garments.
It consist mostly of dresses, skirts and tie-dye and ''timeless floral prints''.
Rihanna got inspired by her crew and her own style as well, she wanted that everyone could wear the pieces, but also keeping the style close to her own, being kinda ''selfish''.

Rihanna for M.A.C

A few months ago I announced earlier that Rihanna was working on yet again a new collaboration.
She made a collection with M.A.C Cosmetics consisting of 31 products ranging from brushes to lipsticks to blushes.
This was the first time M.A.C is collaborating with a celebrity on a breadth of products rather than a one-off.
The four collections called 'RiRi hearts M.A.C' will consist of 31 Products. And will be released soon!
The lipstick, with the iconic M.A.C color, Ruby Woo which she turned in Riri Woo, went on sale first.
On the 2th of May Rihanna announced via Instagram  that her ''very first, very own, signature red lipstick'' was available exclusively to order on www.maccosmetics.com and within three hours the lipstick was sold out!
That's what you call a successful collab! 
You can sign-up on the website to be one of the fist to shop when it returns in June and they will also release it with the new collaboration with Rihanna.

Rihanna and Kate Moss for V Magazine!

Mario Testino worked with the topmodel Kate Moss and the singer Rihanna for a quite intimate shoot.
The two superstars sit on each other laps, naked for the Spring 2013 issue of V Magazine.
The ´´Dynamic Duos´´ issue of V Magazine is on newsstands February 28.
Rihanna shares with V that she was astonished when Kate said she wanted to join.
''Kate overheard us talking and she said, 'I want to do it with you!' Again, I was like, are you f**cking kidding me?'' .. ''I was dying on the inside. All my fantasies were coming true: Mario, V, Kate Moss.''

Rihanna for M.A.C

Rihanna just released ad campaign images of her collection for River Island and showed the collection at the London Fashion Week and she already has announced to be teaming up with M.A.C Cosmetics.
''When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind is M.A.C,'' Rihanna told WWD. ''Whatever color you want, it's like, 'let's go to M.A.C'. I've been using M.A.C on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a incredible brand.''
RiRi Woo will the first launched product. The lipstick inspired by Rihanna's favorite red M.A.C color, the Ruby Woo, will be in stores at the same time as her Diamonds Tour Concert on the 4th and 5th of May.
This is the first time M.A.C is collaborating with a celebrity on a breadth of products rather than a one-off.

The Rihanna for River Island campaign ads have finally been released!
The ad campaign features the topmodels Jourdan Dunn, Bambi Northwood-Blyth, Charlotte Free Ataui Deng and Tao Okamoto and was shot by the fashion photographer, Mario Sorrenti.
The shoot and clothing are both inspired by the nineties.
The collection release is in two weeks!
Rihanna's long-awaited collection for River Island will be in stores on March 5.

Rihanna for River Island!

Yes! Finally the collection has been displayed at the London Fashion just a few minutes ago!

River Island gave their fans the oppurtunity to still watch the show from our seats home on their facebookpage.

I love the collection! It's bold, it's badass, it's Rihanna!

The collection consisted of high-low dresses, colored and printed shirts, skirts and dresses with high slits, a white neat baseball jacket and more fly pieces.

I can't wait till we can shop the collection and we can! Not yet though.

The collection is availlable in stores and online on the 5th of march.

The first you notice is that there is no catwalk.

There are boxy room thingy's where the models walk and pose.

It was very organised and it looked nice! It was something different.

The show finally started and the models were walking through the rooms and posing in every room.

It was organised in a very smart way, everytime a new model walks in, the models walk to another room.

After the models have been to each room, the models with matching outfits pose in the rooms near each other.

Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko - Stay

Rihanna finally released the music to her song 'Stay' of her 7th studio album 'Unapologetic'.
The video consist of an emotional Rihanna lying in a bathtub.
It's a more mature and emotional side of Rihanna.
She performed the new song at the Grammys the other night where she also did a tribute to Bob Marley with Bruno Mars and Sting.

Rihanna for River Island Behind-the-scenes Video!

Rihanna's debut collection for River Island is due to be released at the London Fashion Week on February 16.
The collection for ''Sassy young personalities'' will be in stores on the 5th of March.
River Island has released a behind-the-scenes video of Rihanna.
RiRi takes you to the design studio with her co-designer Adam Selman, puts models through the fittings and shows you never-before-seen sketches.
 “I have wanted to design my own fashion label for a very long time,” Rihanna explains. “This has been something I wanted to do ever since I started loving fashion. Every time I saw something on a rack there was something I wanted to do to change it and so I thought that the only way I could do that is by designing the perfect thing for me.”

The Launch of Rihanna's Collection at River Island

Bambi, Jourdan, Rihanna and Ataui!

Yeah! Finally we have the dates off Rihanna's big fashion debut!

Her River Island collaboration will be presented at the London Fashion Week.

"Launching at LFW is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege," said Rihanna.
''We are very excited to present our Rihanna for River Island collection at London Fashion Week,'' said Ben Lewis, the chief executive of River Island. ''This is the perfect platform to showcase Rihanna's design talent and ambition.''
The collection she has put together for the British retailer will be unveiled on the catwalk during the event.
And her collection which consist of clothing and accessories will be launched in stores and online March 5.
