Books | The One by Kiera Cass
"The One" is a 2014 young adult novel by Kiera Cass and the third book in The Selection Series. The book was first published on May 6, 2014 through HarperTeen.
The Selection changed America Singer's life in ways she never could have imagined. Since she entered the competition to become the next princess of Illéa, America has struggled with her feelings for her first love, Aspen—and her growing attraction to Prince Maxon. Now she's made her choice . . . and she's prepared to fight for the future she wants.
Hmm ..... well, this book is just perfect ♥. This is the third book of the series, and I think this is the best book. This was more exciting than the previous two, it was a lot of unexpected moments for me.
I really like America, some character Selection shown in a new way, someone surprise, and someone admires.
I really like America, some character Selection shown in a new way, someone surprise, and someone admires.
In this book, Maxson must marry one of the contestants. Personally for me the ending was not predictable, because at the end of the book you begin to doubt in your thoughts, because so many unpredictable moments. I'm really happy for the choice of Maxson (...of course I will not say whom he chose..), the way it should be.
The first half of the book was calm, but the last chapters, when the left already very few pages, were very tense. Еnding reading a book I was not sure which would be the end.

Books | How to Falling Love by Cecilia Ahern
SYNOPSIS:
She has just two weeks. Two weeks to teach him how to fall in love – with his own life.
Adam Basil and Christine Rose are thrown together late one night, when Christine is crossing the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin. Adam is there, poised, threatening to jump.
Adam is desperate – but Christine makes a crazy deal with him. His 35th birthday is looming and she bets him that before then she can show him life is worth living.
Despite her determination, Christine knows what a dangerous promise she's made. Against the ticking of the clock, the two of them embark on wild escapades, grand romantic gestures and some unlikely late-night outings. Slowly, Christine thinks Adam is starting to fall back in love with his life. But is that all that's happening… ?
Well....this book is dark and probably sad, I think. I know and understand that Cecilia wanted to make it romantic and sweet story, but I think it's not so. Throughout the book, there were a lot of sad and small positive, for example a lot of death, break up, divorce, suicide attempts .... Yeah. I don't know.....I definitely liked this book, I just would like to it was more romantic.I also like the main characters. And end of the book just gorgeous, it's the best part of the book.
I want to say that this second book by Cecelia Ahern, which I have read, the first was a "Girl in The Mirror", and I can definitely say that, this book can't be compared to that...it is much better.

Books | Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Lock and Key is a novel written by author Sarah Dessen. It is her 8th published novel. It was published by Viking's Children's Books in 2008.
This is a story about a girl Ruby, who lived in a dysfunctional family where mother was drunkard. Ruby didn't complain about life, she was just trying to live and survive. She had no idea that her life can change in one day.
One day her mother left, Ruby used to the fact that the mother can not go back, but tall differently. Ruby was alone, she continued working, she turned to live like one, but once social workers learned about her situation and taken her to a shelter. She was taken away by sister, who was able to change her life, she now lives with her husband in a posh house, and there is and needs nothing. In the beginning Ruby could not get used to the new life. She found new friends, betrayed by old and moved to the new elite school.
She began working at a jewelry store, became friends with a neighbor boy Nate, then she liked it. Nate had problems with his father, Ruby wanted to help, but her efforts were rejected, but she was able to help him at the end of the book, Nate went to his mother, Ruby missed him, but they communicated in a social network, which was created by the husband of Cora, her sisters.
I liked the book, it is normal, but to be honest after reading it I didn't feel anything. This book is somehow about nothing. Just I certainly understand that Ruby was a difficult life and all that, but in this book as that all daily. It's like you just read someone's life. I think that in this book there is no story. Just Ruby's life. There wasn't some interesting moments. If you ask me what about this book, I would not even know what to say .... just about Ruby, the schoolgirl. This book in the second time I didn't read.

Books | The Hunger Games Trilogy
The Hunger Games trilogy is a series of young adult adventure novels by Suzanne Collins. The trilogy consists of The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay. This story begins with a description of a typical family, which is under the influence government of Capitol, Panem, and ended real war between districts against President Snow.
The story I liked the fact that she was special. It has everything: war, intrigue, friendship, love, and death. The main character Katnis - a true hero, who has not broken under the pressure of enemies, she helped all her loved ones. Her brooch of Mockingjay has become a symbol of war. I really admire her stamina, she lost Prim, Odair and a lot of other people, but she was able to survive it. In the first book, I think she is a bit meanly did with Peeta, because he really fell in love with her, she always treated him with a little biased. I feel sorry for Peeta, because he was not prepared for the Games, for him it was really hard, but he won. Katniss and Peeta were able to change the rules of the game, they proved that it is possible change something if you really want it, yeah, it was a difficult game against the Capitol. They gave people to live freely.
My favorite book probably the first, because it is the most calm, I think I will read this trilogy many times, it's really beautiful story. I really love film adaptation.

Book | The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (2008)
The Hunger Games is a science fiction novel by the American writer Suzanne Collins. It is written about the 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in the post-apocalyptic nation of Panem in North America in District 12 with mother and sister Prim. They are poor and so she goes hunting with her friend Gale in the woods. Each year, the Capitol selects children aged from 12 to 18 on the Hunger Games. At Harvest chose her sister, but Katniss was the tributes, instead of her, the second tributes was Peeta Mellark was the son of a baker.
They went to the game, it all started with training and parade. Games beganon the first day was lost almost half of tributes. There they fight for life, Peeta teams up with a pro, and it saves his life for a while. Then Rue, a girl from District 11 assists Katniss. Then Peeta injuring a knife, the rules have changed, now can win two, if they are from the same district.
Katniss rescues him, they spent three days in a cave, where she cared for him, and their mentor Haymitc, said Katniss how to handle with Peeta where you have to to hug, where to kiss, Peeta believed in her feelings. All this she played that people to think that they are star-crossed lovers. Peeta did not know about.
End a bit in the book more than film. Capitol created the animals, which were rounded up the three finalists to the horn of plenty. Cato they tore it long tormented, after he said Katniss shooting him, so he do not suffer. Her and Peeta took the plane, there Peeta fell fainting, to him put the an artificial leg. Then Peeta found out that actually Katniss does not love it, for him is a big blow.
This book makes think. I really feel sorry for Peeta, he loved Katniss, and she deceived him. It really hurts. I think that's the story and the book is very interesting. It can be read many times, that is why it bestseller. The film is very well embodied the story.

She had a granddaughter Lila, which she ordered to never look in the mirror. Lila always obeyed and did not violate her requests. Then the story transported on for many years, on the day of the wedding of Lila. Lila goes to her grandmother's house disguised in a wedding dress and violates her promise, opens the mirror and this moment changed her life forever. Mirror takes her back, and in return for what she gets out of it and asks her to give eyes then she realizes that the grandmother was without eyes, because when she was young mirror took them away and she was curtain off all the mirrors.

The main character has a flashback about his love Judith, who died in the accident. He finds a woman who was also named Judith and takes her to his work.

Books | Looking For Alaska by John Green
I really love Young Adult Novel and John Green. Looking for Alaska is a young adult novel by John Green, published in March 2005 by Dutton Juvenile.
The main characters of the book are: Miles "Pudge" Halter, Alaska Young, Chip "The Colonel" Martin, Lara and Takumi. Alaska is a beautiful, energetic, wild girl who is the first love of Miles. Miles is a guy who interest in learning the last words of famous people, it's weird for a guy 16 years old, he didn't have friends in school so he decided to start a new life.
The short story book. The guy who lives in Floridadecided to go to study in Alabama. There, he met a Takumi and Alaska. Alaska amazed him in the heart, he fell in love. They were having a good time, but one of Alaska has made it clear to him that she was not indifferent to him, but there was one problem, she had a boyfriend. Alaska once spent time with Miles, and then suddenly left. After a while, Miles finds out that she is dead, it shocked him, he neg believe it, began an investigation of her death.
Struck me most Miles shock when he heard of the death of Alaska, it was so sincere, even I felt that he really loved her, there was a feeling that his heart is breaking into a hundred little pieces. Although Alaska is not fond of him as he did, but it did not matter.
“She loved mysteries so much, that she became one.”

Models Without Make-Up In Douglas Perrett's Wild Things
Models, their job is to look good and to sell.
To look make-up artists use for every shoot/ad/show make-up.
But we also love seeing them without any make-up which make them look more ''normal''.
Because lot's of girls are very jealous of the models, whether it's about skin or figure.
And when you see your favorite models in a magazine or on the runway you might want to know how they looked at the beginning of their career without make-up.
See the famous models Candice Swanepoel, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Miranda Kerr and others photographed without any make-up early in their careers.
Casting director Douglas Perrett made a book where he documents all of is favorite models.
Perrett looks for personality in a model, one who has a connection to the camera and to him.
It's all about a repeat booking.
Perrett is showing you with Polaroids from 2000 till 2010 that models are gorgeous without the make-up and Photoshop which only emphasizes their appearance.
You can watch the trailer above but continue reading to see the Polaroids.

Alexander Mcqueen: The Life and the Legacy
But this biography is different than others.
Author Judith Watt promises that this piece will be different than others saying ''There’s stuff in this book that no one’s researches before, and photos and drawings no one has ever seen before''.
It's an initmate look at the personal and professional life of the fashion world’s most visionary designer.
Author Judith Watt, a renowned fashion historian and personal friend of McQueen, addresses the couture-level craftsmanship of each collection and provides insight into the inspiration that guided each fever-pitched runway show, from the sublime to the downright controversial and avant-garde, like the “Highland Rape” collection of 1995. A final chapter addresses the legacy of the Alexander McQueen label and the present-day work of its creative director Sarah Burton. Complete with previously unpublished fashion illustrations by McQueen himself, in addition to a mixture of exquisite catwalk and editorial fashion images, Alexander McQueen: The Life and the Legacy delivers a truly comprehensive, in-depth look at the most provocative designer of a generation.
Judith Watt also dedicated a chapter to Sarah Burton, who was the right hand McQueen and is now the creative director of his ongoing label.
The intro of the book is written by fashion icon and good friend of McQueen.
Well, this book deserves a good place on your bookshelf.
