Natural Beauty by James Houston with Irina Shayk, Anja Rubik, Emma Watson, Christy Turlington and more!


The New York based photographer and activist James Houston newest project 'Natural Beauty' is releasing soon.
'Natural Beauty' is a beautiful photographic book and event series were some leading models and celebrities will be featured in.
Christy Turlington, Emma Watson, Brook Shields, Elle Macpherson, Anja Rubik, Irina Shayk are a few of the many models and celebs featured in the 120-page-book.
The project is in collaboration with MILK Studio and will raise awareness for the environement and sustainable living with the proceeds from the booksales and supporting initative benefitting Global Green USA.


Irina Shayk was very delighted to work with James Houston as she says this on her facebookpage; ''It was a great honor to work with James Houston on this important and beautiful project to aid in the quest to encourage environmental awareness. The web series will soon launch, but please have a look at the trailer now for a peek of what’s to come!''


The book will be released in the late spring of 2013 and a exhibition in New York city will follow in April.

AmfAR Gala 2013

Last night the New York Fashion Week kicked of in style with the amfAR Gala 2013.
The amfAR Gala benefits AIDS research and honors those who have made significant contributions towards the fight and research against this deadly disease.
Heidi Klum, Kenneth Cole and Janet Jackson were all honored this year for their contributions.
The mayor Michael Bloomberg cut the ribbon to start the Mercedes - Benz Fall 2013 Fashion Week alongside former Victoria's Secret Angel, Heidi Klum, and designers Michael Kors and Kenneth Cole.

Heidi Klum's Haunted Holiday Party 2012

Heidi Klum always hosts her annual Halloween party on Halloween but because of Hurricane Sandy, she delayed the party till yesterday.
So she decided to make to party in to a fundraiser for the American Red Cross.

Doutzen Kroes Hosted A Fundraiser For World AIDS Day at LAVO, New York

Doutzen Kroes hosted a fundraiser to benefit World AIDS Day at the hottest nightclub of New York, LAVO.
The Dance4Life ambassador and supermodel was featured by music guest DJ Bambi, Dennis Ferrer and Kyle Rayner.
All the proceeds went to the charity.

Designer Pudsey raised thousands at auction

30 Big names in the fashion industry have been using their creative minds and amazing talents to make a Pudsey bear in their own style.
BBC Children in Need launched the Designer Pudsey Collection in 2011.
And then ,with the help of 14 designers, raised ove£50,000.
The Designer Pudsey Bear collection raised over £150,000 for Children in Need at a Christie's auction last night in London.
Models including the amazing Cara Delevingne and Liberty Ross turned out to help sell the bears and raise money for the cause.

It was the Giles Deacon Swarovski crystal-encrusted Pudsey who've been sold for a top bid of £ 24,000.
Closely followed by the Louis Vuitton Pudsey auctioned by the creative director of the French Fashion house, Marc Jacobs sold for £20,000.
Tom ford got the third place with a bear sold for £12,000, fourth is the Burberry Teddy for £9,000.
Dior and McQueen designs made £8,500 each.

A number of bears are still available to bid on.
They'll be remaining on sale until sunday 18 November, the auction closes 6pm.

GQ And Tommy Hilfiger Honor The Men Of New York


GQ and Tommy Hilfiger honored the comedian, actor, chef and NHL player Aziz Ansari, Todd English, Peter Facinelli and Carl Hagelin at the Men of New York event at the opening of the Tommy Hilfiger flagship yesterday November 29th.
The event celebrated the contributions of some of the city's most gifted musicians, entrepeneurs, actors, athletes and artists.
The Men of New York event reflects the brand’s heritage of highlighting the achievements of influential people who make significant contributions to their communities.
Because Tommy Hilfiger always supported the inspiring talent and unique spirit of New York City through their programs and partnerships with some of the city's top businesses and non profit organizations.
The impact of the recent Hurricane Sandy is still being felt by many New Yorkers so GQ and Tommy Hilfiger dedicated this year's funds to the Mayor's Fund.
And Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A Inc. will donate 20% of their sales from the evening to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City for Hurricane Relief.

Tommy Hilfiger Breast Cancer Awareness

October is the month of breast cancer awareness.
All kinds of products will be launched to raise money to defeat this horrible disease.
And this year Tommy Hilfiger launches it's sixth limited-edition handbag in support of Breasth Health International.

A navy blue leather tote with red handles and white accents is the limited edition bag with the cost if  299,-.With every sold bag Tommy Hilfiger will send out € 100.- to Fund for Living.
The images were shot by Drew Barrymore. She shot the French singer Charlotte Gainsbourg with the bag.

Designer Tommy Hilfiger commented, "I am very proud to be the partner of Breast Health International. The annual limited collection is a great opportunity to call our customer’s attention to our initiative and to collect donations."

"I am honored to be working with Tommy Hilfiger and Charlotte Gainsbourg and making people more aware of the fantastic work of Breast Health International," says Drew.


"It means a lot to me to aim to support," says Charlotte. "With this bag Tommy Hilfiger allows people to help BHI. The money raised for the Fund for Livingston makes a big difference for women with breast cancer and their families, the cost to pay that much insurance would not cover. "

Pura Vida bracelets (pure life in spanish)  are simple handmade bracelets made in Costa Rica. This is how it started, two guys went on an vacantion in Costa Rica where they met Jorge, Jorge was selling handmade bracelets at the beach. The guys bought five of them. They really liked them, so they asked Jorge if he could make 400 of them! The two guys spread the new movement: Pura Vida bracelets! Jorge lived in a room with 3 beds for him en his family but now he can affort a house thanks to his new amigos.
These bracelets are now selling in 700+ surfshops in America!
