H&M's Modern Essentials by David Beckham

Always wanted the men in your life to dress more like David Beckham? Well now they can, on an H&M budget.
In addition to a new installement of David Beckham's Bodywear collection for H&M, he will be choosing his key-items of the retailer's spring line-up. 

He's not designing a collection but rather choosing his favourite pieces for spring from H&M's Modern Spring 2015 collection, pieces of personal taste and what he likes to wear daily. Essentials include a linen bomberjack and blazer, a poloshirt and a white-washed denimjack. All modeled by the man himself. 

The pieces chosen by Beckham will be called Modern Essentials by David Beckham and will be availlable for sale along with his Spring Bodywear collection on 5 March. The collection will be celebrated with an accompanying campaign video shot by the famous director Mark Foster.

Foster said it was Beckham's "acute eye for cinematic storytelling that struck me during the filming of this campaign." Adding that "He doesn't make H&M clothing look good, he makes it look great. "

Another Preview of the Alexander Wang X H&M Collaboration

Earlier this year H&M anounced that Alexander Wang would be the next designer to collaborate with the high-street retailer and I've been checking for updates and previews ever since, I mean I honestly squealed for a minute after seeing the preview images.

Today GQ.com released some images from the October issue of British GQ featuring items from the men's collection of the highly-anticipated collaboration. The images show that the collection has a very atlethic vibe we all know from AW, sweatshirts, shorts, sweatpants and t-shirts are the main focus of the selection finished with a pair of rad WANG sunglasses, a leather backpack and crisp white high-tops. Also, don't forget about the big pufferjackets, rad. I definitley need the grey WANG sweater! 

This is just a small selection of the collab I can't wait for the rest of the collection which will be available in November. What's your fave item of the collection so far? Let me know below!

Alexander Wang X H&M

So today I woke up with reading such great news, this year H&M will collaborate with none other than Alexander Wang! This is actually a collaboration which I'm very excited for and it's their first collab with an American designer. Isabel Marant X H&M last year wasn't as great as I expected, maybe because I had high expectations.

Alexander Wang took Instagram to announce this (hugeeee) collaboration, his first post on the social-media platform. He posted two videos on the official account of Alexander Wang. The first video starts with field lights that turn on and after the countdown clock has counted down to zero, WANG X H&M appear on the scoreboard with the numbers 11:06, so it's kinda safe to say the collection will be available on November 6!

Just 6 months, 3 weeks and 3 days until we can splurge on it!

Get to Know H&M's New Icons: Jourdan Dunn, Andreea Diaconu, Sui He and Nadja Bender

Get to know H&M's New Icons, Jourdan Dunn, Andreea Diaconu, Sui He and Nadja Bender.

Jourdan Dunn who was born in London in 1990, was scouted when she was 14. By 2008 she had become the first black model to walk the Prada catwalk in over a decade. That year Jourdan won the title ''Model of the Year'' at the British Fashion Awards, and she has since appeared on many international front covers including British and American Vogue. ''My Icon is Beyoncé, not just because she's beautiful, but because she represents strong women in today's society''





Romanian model Andreea Diaconu was born in Bucharest in 1991, and is now based in New York. She started modeling in 2006, and was discovered by photographer David Sims in 2012. Andreea has since been featured on the cover French Vogue and appeared in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana.
When she's not modelling, she really loves karate.

''I think H&M's a really cool brand. It's very eclectic, because everyone can wear it.''

Sui He was born in 1989 in Wenzhou, a city six hours from Bejing, and in 2006 won a Chinese modeling contest. It was in 2011 that she broke onto the international catwalks, becoming the first Asian model to open a Ralph Lauren show. She's since become the first Asian global spokesperson for Shiseido, and was recently a guest judge on China's Next Topmodel.

''I think H&M is so stylish. I shop there all the time.''





Born in 1990, Nadja Bender is from Copenhagen and was
discovered through Facebook in 2011. Initially she wanted to continue her studies, but soon gave modelling a try, and in Febuary 2012 she opened the show for both Alexander Wang and Rodarte. Nadja has appeared in campaigns for Gucci and Chanel among others, and would still like to finish her degree in nanotechnology.

The New Icons 2014 by H&M

For the second time H&M introduced its New Icons collection. This year the supermodels Sui He, Nadja Bender, Jourdan Dunn, Andreea Diaconu as this years New Icons. The models are clad in the must-have looks for this season;''street sharp silhouettes, slick tailoring and fresh nautical stripes.'' The collection consists of a navy jumpsuit with a low-cut V-neck, a fitted tuxedo jacket with dark print, cropped sweaters, black accessories with gold details and a double-breasted trenchcoat.

The collection is now available in-stores and online.

Doutzen Kroes is the New Face of the H&M's 2013 Summer Campaign!

As I announced earlier yesterday, Doutzen Kroes has been officially announced as the face of the Hennes and Maurits Summer 2013 Campaign!

Alongside the songstress Beyoncé she's the face of their high-summer campaign.

And today H&M released the official images of Doutzen for this campaign.

The images were shot by Terry Richardson in the beautiful Mexico. 

This is her first time working with H&M because of her Angel contract with Victoria's Secret she wasn't able to work with them.
''Everyone who works with H&M is so nice, they gave me the feeling that I was part of the 'family''' she told Vogue.nl

The summer-collection of H&M consists of cropped tops, denim shorts, brightly colored swimsuits and short summerdresses.

Doutzen Kroes the New Face of the H&M's 2013 Summer Campaign!

I love seeing all these great faces representing an accessible fashion retailer.

Get to know H&M's 'The New Icons' by watching their short interviews with Harper's Bazaar's Derek Blasberg.

Since the girls are all from different continents Derek asks the girls where they're from and how they eventually ended up in New York City.
He also asks´The all the way Puerto Rican´ Joan Smalls, the very down-to-earth dutchie Daphne Groeneveld, the stylish Chinese Liu Wen and the laid-back American Lindsey Wixson about their personal style and what makes someone an 'Icon'.

Beyoncé is the Face of H&M's Summer 2013 Campaign!

Beyoncé is officially announced as the face H&M's Summer 2013 Campaign.
Inez & Vinoodh captured the superstar the beautiful Bahamas.
The ''Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M'' campaign will be revealed soon with her upcoming track ''Standing on the Sun'' as background music for the ad.
''It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more lik making a video than commercial'', where B's words about the campaign.
The head of design of H&M, Ann-Sofie Johansson says that B is wearing the H&M musthaves you'll be needing for the warm summer in the campaign.
But the thing what makes this campaign and its items special is that Beyoncé also was in charge of the designs which ensures that the items have her personal style.
And also that 25% of all the proceeds will go to WaterAid.

The collection is expected to hit stores in May.

David Beckham for H&M Directed by Guy Ritchie

Topdirector Guy Ritchie has created a humorous short film for the new collection of H&M: David Beckham Bodywear.
It's a funny film with David chasing the car with his family which has his robe between the door.
Also Mr. Beckham has transferred from L.A Galaxy to Paris-Saint-Germain where he is gonna play the next half year.
Becks proves he has a good heart with donating his salary from his club to donate to a charity for children!

Behind the Scenes: Georgia May Jagger for H&M by Terry Richardson

Georgia May Jagger is starring in the new H&M Campaign 'Rock'N'Roll Mansion'.

It fits her perfectly because she's also the daughter of the Rolling Stones rocker, Mick Jagger.

Georgia starred in H&M's christmascampaign of 2011 with her mom, the former model Jerry Hall.
