Jay-Z & Kanye West featuring Frank Ocean – No Church In The Wild The VID!

While Jay-Z and Kanye West are conquering the international stages during the Europian leg of their highly successful Watch The Throne tour, the duo unveiled their latest visual for ''No Church In The Wild''.

Helmed by famed directior Romain Gavras and best known overseas for directing M.I.A.'s controversial video for "Born Free". Also featured with Frank Ocean.

The visual was filmed in the streets of Prague last month and serves as the third visual impression off the duo’s Grammy award-winning album Watch the Throne following “Otis” and “Ni**as in Paris.” Segments of the video have already been shared during concerts in the UK, but now the full version has emerged in its full glory.

And there are speculations of a sequel of the album.

Kanye West is currently working on his new album G.O.O.D Music.

The project of Watch The Throne 2 hasn't started yet, but it's coming, according to producer Mike Dean.

This is a bow tie. Yes bow ties for women is trendy now.

It makes your outfit a bit classy, elegant or quirky.

But it's hard to wear a bow tie the right way though.

Another quirky idea is to stud your collar.

You can stud it with spikes, pyramids, whatever you like!

You can also cut out the collar of an old blouse spike that collar so you can use it more often.

Spring Fashion 2012: Lauren Conrad Inspired Outfit #2

I love Lauren Conrad's style! I know that I did a post in the fall on an inspired outfit based off of her style. I decided to do one for spring!

How to recreate her look:
Top:

Any cream or light pink flowy tank will work for this.

School Makeup Routine!

As a junior in high school. I don't put on a whole lot of make up in the morning, because I try to get as much sleep as I can get! Everyday varys with my makeup, but here's a general layout of what I where everyday to school.
Please keep in mind, most school days are just concealer and mascara, but if I want to do more, this is all what I will do on a school day. :)

Eye: I usually only stick to mascara and concealer, but a few of days a week, I'll do my full school eye routine (which is below)

First, I apply an under eye concealer to cover up those dark circles from a lack of sleep. I use Maybelline's "Fit Me" concealer.

I apply a primer, then all over the lid, I use the lighter color from Clinique's Eye shadow duo in "Rosewine," and sometimes mix it with a soft light pink.

My outer half/crease color, depends on my mood. I will usually wear a soft matte brown for a more soft, subtle look , like the lid color from the Maybelline quad "Chai Latte. Sometimes though, I'll wear "MAC's "All that glitters."

Recently, on my tight Line, I apply Revlon's Colorstay Pencil Eyeliner in "Black"

I then curl my lashes and apply Covergirl's Lastbast mascara.

Face
I don't wear foundation, but a occasionally will where this blush:

NYX cream blush in "Rose Petal"

Lips
Just chapstick, and I'm good to go!

My 3 favourite (parfum) commercials

On number 3: Chanel No. 5 Parfum

The French actress audrey tatou is the new face of the iconic fragrance Chanel No. 5.

Created by Coco Chanel in 1921, No. 5 has remained the number one selling scent around the world.

Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who worked with her in Amelie, the film portray a brief sensual encounter between a man on a women who brush past each other on a night train

Filmed in a railway station in Nice and on the Bosphorus in Istanbul, it was inspired by a scene in the Oscar-nominated film A Very Long Engagement.

Tatou, who plays the title role of Coco Chanel in Anne Fontaine's new film Coco avant Chanel, said of her appointment to the luxury fashion house: "It hasn't really sunk in yet. The fact that the film has been directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, the fact that it is Chanel No.5, which for me is a legend in itself. Even now, I find it hard to believe."
When I saw the commercial I immediately wanted to buy the fragrance!

I really love this commercial! Starring with the actress/model Charlize Theron. I love how the three legends, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Marlene Dietrich all glance in this commercial!
The commercial was directed by Seven Years in Tibet's Jean-Jacques Annaud.
Charlize Theron rose to fame in the late 1990s following her roles in 2 Days in the Valley, Mighty Joe Young, The Devil's Advocate and The Cider House Rules. She received critical acclaim and an Academy Award for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster, for which she became the first South African to win an Academy Award in a major acting category. She received another Academy Award nomination for her performance in North Country. After appearing in a few notable films, Theron starred as the serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster. Film critic Roger Ebert called it "one of the greatest performances in the history of the cinema". This is the one of the best commercial I ever saw!

It all fits perfectly together, the models, the music, the video itself.

And especially the music is what I love about this commercial.

This is one of the commercial that I keep staring at, like I don't even move because I'm focusing on the gorgeous models! The commercial is about a new generation of young, trend-conscious men who embrace a fashion icon: The polo player by Ralph Lauren.
The Big Pony Collection rounds out this look with 4 different scents, the passions of young men pay tribute.
The 4 fragrances are: Sport, Seduction, Adventure and style.
The generation of today is defined by many different facets - a variety that only acollection of unique fragrances, as it is the Big Pony Collection can meet.

H&M Fall 2012 Lookbook

It's always interesting to see which trends from the runway trickle down into the collections of high street retailers like H&\M. We can expect to find all our favorite trends from the Fall 2012 runways at H&M.

There will be sleek silhouettes, harnesses, very short shorts, leather peplums, digital floral prints, brocade, turtlenecks, baseball jackets, boxy coats, metallic-thread seperates and lots of sparkle at an H&M near you. 
Accessories include Phillip Lim-esque clutches, leather baseball caps and gloves, and bold, bejweled statement jewelry (though we think we prefer Anna Dello Russo’s collection). And while we don’t think we’ve ever bought a pair of shoes from H&M, there’s a really cute pair of pointy-toed pumps with a Manolo for J. Crew vibe that we really want.

Spring/Early Summer Makeup Essentials!

I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting very much for the last few months. I'm sorry about the excuses, but I have been really busy with school lately (SAT, ACT, testing, ect.) Hopefully when summer rolls around, I will be posting more! Now enough with the excuses!
Spring is here and summer is just around the corner! Here are some of my spring/early summer makeup essentials!

1. Light Eyeshadows: Whether they're a light champagne color or a light pink, light eyeshadow is a must for those who like wearing eyeshadow in the spring!
2. (Matte) Bronzer: As you are getting more tan, a natural bronzer like NYC's "Sunny" Bronzer (shown in the photo) is nice to have to even our your skin, while giving you a glow!
3. BB Cream/ Tinted Moisturizer: Since it's starting to get warmer outside, step away from your thicker foundation and go for a lighter coverage! BB creams are great for this :). (Tell me if you would like a post about BB creams)
4. Waterproof Eyeliner: As you are starting to hit the pool more often, go for a waterproof eyeliner that will last your through the day.
5. Lip Balm with SPF: Whether you're a makeup junkie or not, this should be a stable for everyone! Just like the rest of your body, you need to protect your lips from the sun!
6. Cream Blush: Cream blushes like the NYX cream blush in "Rose Petal" (shown in the photo) blend in with your skin, giving you that glowy look. Pink cream blushes are perfect for spring.
7. Tinted Lip Balm: Tinted lip balms like the Revlon lip butter in "Peach Parfait" are great because they give you a tint while moisturizing and protecting your lips.
8. Waterproof Mascara: This is something that every girl should have if they are planning on going to the pool. This will also last you through those hot spring and summer days!

Just like the clip of their song Nigga's in Paris they used their concert footages in black and white effect. Perhaps the most interesting bit from the speculation about the clips is that is in fact a teaser for Jay-Z's 12th Studio album. Nothing like a little bit of mystery for you.

The Met Gala 2012

Last night one of the most important yearly events went down in New York City.

Im talking about the The MET Gala 2012 wich was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Temple of Dendur.

As celebration of the new exhibition of ''Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations.''

-hosted by Carey Mulligan, Anna Wintour, and Miuccia Prada herself, as well as honorary cochair Jeff Bezos.

As usual celebrities from around the globe came to the Costume Institute Gala, wich was once again hosted by Vogue. You could call it the most important '' fashion event of the year!

I can say that the celebrities looked amazing at this event.
Maybe you could be inspired on how to dress for several occasions.

Quick Tip: Maintaining Eyebrows (without eyebrow gel)

I don't know about you, but I have those days when my eyebrows are just crazy. If you don't have brow gel, another way of maintaining them is using hairspray. It's super easy!
Heres how:

• Taking a medium-max hold hairspray (anything type of hairspray can work) and a eyebrow groomer/brush, spray the eyebrow brush two times (may depend on the hairspray you use). 
• Make sure that you have enough hairspray so that you can feel it on the brush, but not too much (like the brush is dripping in hairspray).
• Use the hairsprayed brush on your brows as if you were just grooming your eyebrows.
• Grooming your eyebrows: First, brush the hairs up, and then brush straight across, following your natural eyebrow shape, so that there are no more hairs sticking up.
• Now you have eyebrows that will stay in place all day!

This is a good way to maintain your eyebrows, but make sure you wash the brush weekly.
