Falling into Winter: Holiday Series

Thanksgiving is officially over, which means that it's also "officially" holiday season! In celebration for the holiday season, I have exciting news....I'll be doing a "Falling into Winter" series, which is kinda like blogmas! Now, what is blogmas? If you watch Youtube vloggers, you may have heard of Vlogmas. "Falling into Winter" on my blog will be similar as Vlogmas, but instead of posting a vlog everyday until Christmas, I will be posting a holiday themed post every other day until Christmas. Now, I know that most bloggers already post daily. I really wish I could post everyday, but dead week is this week then I have finals, so I unfortunately don't have the time to write quality posts everyday.

Anyways, pretty much the point of this post is to say that I will posting every other day until Christmas, which I'm pretty excited about! It'll start December 2nd until Christmas! And don't worry, regular posts will still be posted after Christmas!

EDITORIAL SUNDAY/ VOGUE NEDERLANDS OCTOBER 2014

Happy Sunday, peeps.

Aaand here's another new category. For me Sundays are mostly cozy and lazy. Especially in the colder seasons I like to curl up under a blanket and drink my tea on the coach, preferably with my love next to me. 

Next week I will list you up my favorite Sunday activities.

So what goes best with a Sunday like this is an editorial where you can just dwell on the beautiful pictures.

My Current Everyday Makeup Look!

As much as I like experimenting with makeup, I find myself doing the same makeup look almost everyday. I haven't changed my makeup look for more than half a year and decided that it was about time for me to post my go-to look that I wear to class and causal weekends. I don't have classes until the later morning, which gives me time to make myself not look like someone straight out of a caveman movie. Although I usually have the time to get ready, I still always find myself using products for multiple purposes.

The Makeup...
I start off my makeup routine by applying the Urban Decay Primer Potion on my lids and blend the NYC Bronzer in Sunny into my crease with a crease brush. I then apply the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder all over the lid, which may seem odd, but since I have very oily eyelids I find that applying a finely milled powder lightly brightens my lid (since my lids are fairly dark) and keeps them matte all day.

To help make me look more awake, I apply the Bobbi Brown Eyeliner in "Caviar Ink" with a thin brush to just the outer half of my top lash line. Eyeliner is an essential for my everyday look! Another essential is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, which I apply to cover my horrible under eye circles and any pimples. To brighten my eyes more, I apply the Rimmel Eyeliner in "Nude" to my tear duct area and inner third of my bottom lash line. I then finish the eye look with a coat of the Maybelline Rocket Mascara on my upper and lower lashes and groom my brows with the Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara.

For my face, since I don't wear foundation on an everyday basis, I apply the Neutragena Clear Face Sunscreen as a base. To add a bit of definition, I apply the NYC Bronzer (the same bronzer I used on my eyes) to the hollows of my cheekbones, temples, and down the jawline. For a bit of color, I apply the NYX Creme Blush in "Rose Petal" to the apples of my cheeks, blending to the hair lines. I finish the look with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to my t-zone to prevent shine and under my eyes to set the concealer.

I may do another post on my more smokey fall makeup look that I wear when I need to be more dressed up, since that may be a little more interesting to read!

Beauty post: Vichy Idealia Life serum

U ovom postu  cu vam pisati o Vichy Idealia Life serumu, koji sam dobila pre nekih mesec dana. Nisam htela da hvalim proizvod dok ne vidim rezultate, a sada zaista imam razlog.
 Kupljen je u apoteci dok je bio na akcijskoj ceni oko 3.000rsd, a sada je oko 4.000rsd. Dobila sam uz njega Vichy beli neseser i 10 uzoraka seruma.
U nežnoj ružičasto-srebrnoj bočici se nalazi 30ml čudesnog seruma koji je divnog mirisa, ima svetlucave čestice i lako se razmazuje.

Spektakularna transformacija kvaliteta kože, čak i kod:
- kože pod uticajem stresa
- kože pod uticajem prevelike izloženosti UV zracima
- kože pod uticajem zagađenja okoline i dima
- kože pod uticajem neuravnotežene ishrane

Moram da napomenem da inače imam osetljivu kožu. Veliki sam protivnik solarijuma i bilo kakvog sunčanja lica. Od srednjoškolskih dana koristim isključivo Eucerin kozmetiku, jer mi je najviše odgovarala. Od njohovog mleka za skidanje šminke, tonika, pene za umivanje, sapuna do krema.
NIKADA nisam zaspala sa šminkom na licu! Smatram da je to veoma bitno, jer kada zaredjate nekoliko puta da ne skinete nečistoću sa lica preći će vam u naviku i tada ne očekujte negovano lice.
U koje god doba da dodjete vikendom kući, nemojte biti lenji, već detaljno skinite šminku i to prvo maskaru,  posebno prstima i toplom vodom (da se ne razmaže po celom licu), a zatim ostalo.
 Lično nisam ljubitelj rukavica za skidanje šminke, jer mislim da ne mogu da zamene dobru staru vatu i mleko.
Da se vratim na Vichy serum. Isprva nisam znala da li da ga koristim kao podlogu za šminku ili uveče kada kožu dobro očistim pred spavanje.Probala sam i jednu i drugu varijantu, a sada ga koristim u obe varijante. Prosto mu se ne može odoleti. Jednim pritiskom pumpice dobijem količinu dovoljnu za celo lice i vrat. Koža mi je vidno blistavija, ujednačen je ten, nema više proširenih pora. Pošto imam izrazito bled ten, brzo primetim sve promene na koži.
Toplo ga preporučujem svima! Ako ste planirali neku novu majicu, usmerite tu kupovinu na kvalitetan proizvod za vašu kožu. Krpica nam nikad dosta, složićete se.  Ali, koža je najveći ljudski organ i ona "pamti", zato, obradujte je!

Happy friday, everybody!

The weekend is almost here,YAY. So let's celebrate a little by taking a look at a make-up look which screams "PARTY".

The little glittery sequins under the eyes of the models of the Chanel SS14 Couture show just got me. 

How cool does it look!? Yes, we have to be a tiny bit brave to rock this look in "real life". But for a special occasion like New Years Eve coming up, it is perfect. 

For me this look would work best with smooth, matte skin and a neutral lip. Let the focus be on your eyes.
Maybe I will try it out sometime.

TRAVEL/ WHEN IN MILANO I

Hey there peeps.

One thing I really love to do is traveling.

In my opinion one should collect moments, experiences and memories, not things. (Except shoes, of course.) 

What often stands in my way is the money, or more likely the lack of money. *High five fellow students*

But because I really (really) love to travel, I just try to get away for little money. The faraway places I might put off for later in my life but there are so much beautiful places to go to not so far away. Like you might know, I live in Switzerland and that's quite in the middle of Europe. So there are a lot of nice cities and places "near" me. 

When I go collect memories on my travel journeys, I plan to share them with you. So that's another new category, kind of. 

So on the occasion of (throwback-)thursday...

In the end of October I was in Milan with my dear friend Leila.

This time I don't really remember all the shops, bars, restaurants and places we went to. Maybe I can share them with you when I go back. And I suppose I will because Milan is beautiful! I mean, look at the pictures!

Next stop, Munich on the weekend. So stay tuned for the next TRAVEL-post (this time with some travel-tips).
