Disney's "Frozen" Anna Makeup Tutorial!

I know that I'm late on the bandwagon, but yesterday I watched "Frozen" for the first time and I fell in love with the movie! I really wanted to do a post on some of the characters, so I decided to do a post of how to achieve the makeup that some of the characters "wore" in the movie. This post is going to be about Anna's makeup, which is perfect for everyday! I'm also planning on doing a post on Elsa's makeup later! Read on to see how to achieve Anna's look from the movie!

Face:

  • Concealer: Since you can still see Elsa's freckles and imperfections, apply a concealer just to any problem areas and under the eyes.
  • Powder: Apply a translucent or powder is little coverage to your t-zone to prevent shine throughout the day.
  • Rosy-Plum Blush: Blush is key to this look (since they are in the cold for most of the movie)! Apply a rosy-plum blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending it up to the sides of your face. (The shade shown is the Covergirl Classic Color Blush in "Iced Plum")
  • Highlighter: Apply a little to the cheekbones and blend to get her glow!

Eyes:
  • Matte Beige Nude Eyeshadow: Apply all over the lid. It didn't look like she was "wearing" anything too shimmery, so this shade will create a natural wash of color over the lid. (The shade shown is W.O.S. from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette)
  • Matte Taupe Brown Eyeshadow: Using a blending brush, apply a little lightly into the crease and outer corner and blend to avoid harsh lines. (The shade shown is Naked 2 from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette)
  • Black Pencil Eyeliner: Anna was wearing eyeliner, so apply a medium line on the upper lash line, making the line thicker in the outer corner. After applying, smudge the line a little with a smudger brush so that the line isn't super "clean", but still a line.
  • Apply some of the black pencil lightly the the outer corner of your waterline.

  • Black Mascara: Apply two coats of mascara to your top lashes and one coat to your bottom lashes.
  • Tinted Eyebrow Gel: Use a gel or powder to fill in your eyebrows, but don't make them too defined and rather natural looking.

Lips:

  • Rosy Tinted Lip Balm: Finish the look by applying a rosy lip balm! (The one shown is Covergirl's Jumbo Gloss Balm in "Watermelon Twist")
I hope you enjoyed this post?
Who is your favorite character form the movie?
Mine is definitely Olaf or Anna! Please comment down below on your favorite!

We Day | Inspirational Speech by Selena Gomez

“I am not an activist. I haven’t changed the world or led a campaign, I’m here to just tell you my path so that you hopefully can take something away from it because I don’t like being honest...this is a true... I don’t like being honest with press and interviews. I like being honest with you directly, which is each and every one of you...cuz I feel like i can and I'm...I'm gonna start with the basics so...I'm 21 and my mom had me when she was 16 and I'm from Grand Prairie Texas and she worked 4 job, and completely dedicated her life into making mine better so to me she is the definition of a strong woman and I love her so much because she's taught me those values so much.

I have been acting my entire life and I have no sence I was first on Barney...you know that purple dinosaur... you guys so motivating I feel like I can say anything....when I was 11 the point being is what I was 7 I wanted to be an actress and I wanted to live my dream and when I was 11 I had a casting director tell me that I wasn't strong enough to carry my own show and I'm sure all of you have beien told by you don't have what it takes and you may not be goog enough and you don't have enough people supporting you and you're beaing told all of these thing and deep down it's all you wanna do you want be a part of something great you wanna make something great and it does more than knocked the wing out of view it crashes you when people try to tell you that you're not good enough and it almost did from me but there was my mom next to me stronger than ever and she said the most important thing is to always trust in myself if I have...if I'm doing something because I love it I should do it because I love it and I believe I can do it so she told me to keep going she told me and she taught me to turn the other cheek and let the credits like the critics the critics and let us just trust ourselver so for me two years later I got my own show and the first thought was Oh mean! that girl when I was 11 said I wouldn't carry my own show and I did I mean thought about that for a little bit but I thought of my mom said, my mom was like you have to trust yourself and I realized if I didn't believe that I could do it I want be able to be here and I have I'm gonna...I'm gonna say I live a very blessed life I have so much to be thankful for and a lot of you are a big part of inspiring me beacasue I don't think you get it and maybe you;re not old enough you inspire me to be better and we should inspire to each other to be better.
I’m surrounded by people who are supposed to guide me and some of them have and others haven’t. They pressure me, ‘You gotta be sexy, you gotta be cute, you gotta be nice, you gotta be all these things.’ And I'm sure you can all relate. You all have pressure that you have to deal with every day — with school, with work, with friends, with parents, with family, with parents I know sometimes with mine, they tell me what to wear, how to look, what I should say, how I should be.
Until recently, I had given into that pressure, I lost sight of who I was, I listened to opinions of people and I tried to change who I am because I thought others would accept me for it. And I realized I don’t know how to be anything but myself. All I really want you to know is that you are changing the world, I’m not changing the world, you’re changing the world and that’s amazing. Please....please  just be kind to each other and love and inspire people, because . . . Let’s do it, let’s change the game...let’s change the game! The most important thing is that we learn and we continue to learn form each other.
Please stay true to yourself just remain who you are and know that we have each others’ backs; all of us have each other’s back. I'd be lying if I said that I have never tried to make myself better by giving and because I have...but I've learned from my actions and for all the thing I've done I'm proudest of that I've learned from my mistakes I want you to know what you to know what it's like that I know what it's like figuring out what types of friends you have you are wgu you surround yourself with so I just wanna say I hope I can inspire each and every one of you to just trust yourselves and to love and to be loved . . . this is such a beautiful thing you’re doing. Be proud of yourselves!”

Spring Beauty Musts! | 2014

First, I would like to say that I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I had finals last week but I promise for more posts! But believe it or not, winter is behind us and it is officially now spring! Don't get me wrong, I love winter and fall, but by the time march rolls around, I'm usually ready for the brighter colors and lighter looks! Spring screams fresh makeup for me, which is why many of the products I included are around the theme of fresher and lighter makeup. This spring, I have really been looking into both pastels and brighter colors that are a little more subtle. Read on to see some of my spring must haves for 2014!

  • Clinique Color Pop Blush in "Ginger Pop" is a peach-pink blush and one of the newer additions to Clinique's cosmetics line and one that I think adds to perfect hint of color for a fresh look. Any peachy-pink blush will due though!
  • L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in "Iced Latte" is a light shimmery champagne eyeshadow that is good for a simple everyday makeup look. I think that light shimmery and pastel colors are perfect for the spring time, with them adding a light wash of color all over the lid for a fresh look.
  • Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream and any light foundation is perfect when the sun starts to come out and the weather warms up. This BB cream says it right in the name in that it provides light coverage without having to worry about makeup melting off your face as well as being affordable. It also has SPF, which is perfect when our skin comes in contact with the sun more!
  • NYX Butter Gloss in "Peaches and Cream" is a bright peach-pink lipgloss and a great way to add a pop of color to your spring makeup look without being too bold! Plus the gloss finish is prefect for spring and into summer.
  • Essie Nail Polish in "Mint Candy Apple" and "Fiji" and two pastel nail polishes that scream spring to me. "Mint Candy Apple" is pastel mint-green color and "Fiji" is a light pastel pink color, both which are subtle while still adding a little pop of color.

I hope you found this post helpful!

Hello spring!

I was wearing: sweatshirt, sunglasses and bracelet - Koton, skirt- my design, sandals-Zara,
bag-Accesorise,necklace-silver from Turkey

It Happend, Kim Kardashian with fiance Kanye West on the Cover of Vogue US April 2014

First let me say that this cover came out great, Kim Kardashian looks stunning in that Lanvin dress with her dapper Fiance Kanye West in Saint Laurent holding her tenderly. They look super cute on the cover.
I've read lots of things that people had to say about the cover and it was as expected not positive, some were claiming that vogue has gone too low and that this cover is the end of the world, vogue and Anna Wintour.

Why the Fuss?
To be honest I don't get the fuss, I mean hasn't Vogue US been putting celebs on their cover for years now?The last model on a Vogue US cover was Kate Upton back in June 2013 and before that it was Kate Moss who graced the September Issue in 2011. Apparently Anna Wintour once said that she saved Vogue by putting celebrities on the cover. I don't think there would be a fuss if Mindy Kaling or Emily Blunt would be put on the cover (they're both featured in the issue) and no, I am not comparing them to Kim K. but still. Sure you don't have to like the cover, but why would people say all these nasty things, claiming she's a pornstar.. Come on. She made an adult video with her boyfriend in 2003, that's eleven years ago, and it leaked in 2007. Everybody makes mistakes but still everyone just can't seem that let that one go. We all know everybody just loves to hate Kim Kardashian.

Vogue named Kim and Kanye #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple , it's the first time a hashtag was used on a Vogue cover and it seems that social The cover was because besides the hashtag because there's also feature on ''Selfie-Made Kate Upton And the Rise of the Social Media Supermodel''

The cover of this April issue was shot by Annie Leibovitz, and will be available on March 30th.

What do you think about this cover?

Modcloth "Uniquely You" + Wanelo!

I am so excited to share to you all that I was recently contacted by Modcloth to participate in their Uniquely You campaign! When I received the email from Modcloth, I had to read over the email a few times because I couldn't believe that I was contacted to participate! I love the style that Modcloth features on their website and it has been one of my go-to websites for style and clothing inspiration for a long time, so I was so excited to be asked to participate!

Modcloth's Dinner Party Darling Dress is the perfect little black dress plus more! The simple shape with classic stripes and a bow at the waistline flatters all body shapes! I decided to pair this dress with a pair of simple suede black heels that has an ankle strap for delicate touch and to add to the classic design of the dress. For jewelry, I added a delicate gold statement necklace and gold stud earrings with a turquoise stone. I think that gold jewelry with black is the perfect combination and that the turquoise earrings add a pop of color to the outfit. I then added a structured black and gold clutch/crossbody bag to tie together the black and gold theme of the outfit. To finish the look, I added some peach-pink blush to add a bit of color to the face while still being natural!

Find the items shown above in my storyboard here!

Check out Wanelo (especially if you're a shopaholic)! It's a great way find new pieces of clothing, see what's in all your favorite stores, and organize clothing pieces (check out my story here)!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Simple St. Patricks Day Makeup Look! (School Appropriate!)

It's already almost that day of the year when you pull out your green, figuring out how much green you actually want to wear on St. Patricks day. This year, St.Patricks day if on a school day, so I wanted to do a post on a makeup look that is a school appropriate look while still incorporating a little green. You can leave out the face makeup and even the eyeshadow, but I just I wanted to include products for those who want a full makeup look. You can always adjust this look to your liking! Read on to see my simple St.Patty's look.

Face:

  • BB Cream: Apply a light foundation or concealer on your trouble areas to even out the skin tone.
  • Translucent Power: Apply a powder to the T-Zone to prevent your face from getting too oily throughout the day.
  • Bronzer: If desired, apply the bronzer lightly to the hollows of your cheeks and on your temples.
  • Pink Blush: Apply a light pink blush lightly to the apples of your cheeks to add a little more color to your face.

Eyes:
  • Light Shimmery Champagne Eyeshadow: Apply this eyeshadow all over the lid up until the crease. This will really brighten your eyes! (The eyeshadow shown is L'Oreal's eyeshadow in "Iced Latte")
  • Light Matte Brown: This step is optional and for those who want a little more definition. Apply the color with a fluffy crease brush and blend gently into the crease.

  • Dark Forest Green Eyeliner: For the pop of green part of the look, apply a green eyeliner on the upper lash line. If you want a little more definition, also apply the green eyeliner on the outer corner of the bottom lash line. (The eyeliner shown is Jane Cosmetic's eyeliner in "Kelly Green" but the shade "Forest Green" also works for a subtle look!)
  • Black Mascara: Apply a black mascara to really make the eyes pop and bring out the green!

Lips:

  • Light Pink Lip Balm: Apply a light pink lip balm to finish off the simple look! (The one shown is Revlon's Lip Butter in "Pink Lemonade")

Ariana Grande | The White House Performance

As part of their “In Performance at the White House” series, the President and First Lady will invite music legends and contemporary major female artists to the White House for a celebration of the great “foremothers” of American music, with songs expressing the struggles and achievements of women.
Ariana is a big fellow, she is always so elegant, and because of her voice I've got goosebumps, not in vain of all young artists invited exactly her. I'm really proud of Ariana, her voice is just perfect.
Below you can enjoy her performance, she performed two songs: "I Have Nothing", "Tattoed Heart".

Tuesday Ten: Favorite Hair Buns and Knots

One of the most timeless hairstyles is the simple hair bun. Whether it's just an easy loop knot or a more intricate braided bun, hair buns are simple way of adding more to a look while not having to worry about your hair being in your way. I personally always wear a simple hair bun when I'm just around the house because its an easy way to keep my hair out of my face when I'm busy. I also, however, love the look of a more complicated bun with twists and braids and I think that they look so elegant for a special occasion! Read on to see some of my favorite hair buns and knots!

Travel | City of Arts and Sciences (Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències) Valencia, Spain

The City of Arts and Sciences is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia, Spain. It is the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia.
The City of Arts and Sciences is situated at the end of the former riverbed of the river Turia, which was drained and rerouted after a catastrophic flood in 1957. The old riverbed was turned into a picturesque sunken park.
Designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, the project underwent the first stages of construction in July 1996 and the finished "city" was inaugurated April 16, 1998 with the opening of L'Hemisfèric.

The entire complex consists of several buildings:
1. L'Hemisfèric - an Imax Cinema, Planetarium and Laserium. The building is meant to resemble a giant eye. The Hemesferic also known as the planetarium or the “eye of knowledge” is the centerpiece of the City of Arts and Sciences.  Its design resembles an eyelid that opens to access the surrounding water pool. The bottom of the pool is glass, creating the illusion of the eye as a whole.
2. El Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe - is an interactive museum of science that resembles the skeleton of a whale.  The hotch-potch of exhibits is designed more for 'entertainment value' than for science education. The building is much more impressive outside than inside. Much of the ground floor is taken up by a basketball court sponsored by a local team and various companies. The first floor has a beautiful view of the Turia Garden that surrounds it. The second floor hosts “The Legacy of Science” exhibition by the researchers. The third floor is known as the “Chromosome Forest” which shows the sequencing of human DNA. Also on this floor is the “Zero Gravity,” the “Space Academy,” and “Marvel Superheroes” exhibitions.
3. L'Umbracle - a landscaped walk with plant species indigenous to Valencia. It harbors in its interior The Walk of the Sculptures, an outdoor art gallery with sculptures from contemporary artists. The Umbracle is a space that is a home to numerous sculptures surrounded by nature. It was designed as an entrance to the City of Arts and Sciences. The plants in the garden were carefully picked to change color with the seasons.
4. L'Oceanogràfic — an open-air oceanographic park. It is the largest oceanographic aquarium in Europe. It was built in the shape of a water lily and is the work of architect Félix Candela. Each building represents different aquatic
environments including the Mediterranean, Wetlands, Temperate and Tropical Seas, Oceans, the Antarctic, the Artctic, Islands and the Ted Sea. This aquarium is a home to over 500 different species including dolphins, belugas, sawfish, jellyfish, starfish, sea urchins, walruses, sea lions, seals, penguins, turtles, sharks, and rays. It also inhabits wetland bird species.
5. El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia — an opera house and performing arts center. It contains four large rooms: a Main Room, Magisterial Classroom, Amphitheater and Theater of Camera. It is dedicated to music and the scenic art s. The Palau de Les Arts has four sections; the main hall, the master hall, the auditorium, and the Martin y Soler theatre. It holds many events such as opera, theatre and music in its auditoriums. Panoramic lifts and stairways connect platforms at different heights on the inside of the metallic frames of the building.
6. L'Àgora — a covered plaza in which concerts and sporting events. The Agora is a space designed to hold a variety of events such as concerts, performances, exhibitions, conventions, staging of congresses, and international sports meetings.
7. El Pont de l'Assut de l'Or — a suspension bridge that connects the south side with Minorca Street, whose 125 meters high pillar is the highest point in the city.
