Summer Fashion Essentials 2012

Here are my summer fashion essentials!

1. Fun Day to Night Dress are good since the days, and nights, are getting warmer. A day to night dress is perfect for those evening get-to-togethers.
2. Denim (Midi) Shorts are a must for those hot days! A midi short is a more modest option, while keeping the outfit comfortable and casual.
3. Fun Sandals are a must for summer. A pair of sandals can be paired with any outfit, whether it's casual or more formal, while still being comfortable.
4. Lightweight Tops are good to just throw on with a pair of shorts for those warmer days. Pair a bandeau with a semi-sheer sleeveless top, like the one shown, for that carefree look.
5. Fun Sundresses are a must for any girl. There are so many sundress out there to fit your style, whether it's floral, or with random animals, such as does, like the one shown.
6. Swimsuits. Warmer weather can mean swimsuits! Find a swimsuit that fits your style, whether it's a triangle, halter, or bandeau style bikini. Don't be afraid to mix and match with the top and bottoms.
7. Colorful Bangles can brighten up any outfit in the sun.
8. White Shorts are perfect for the summer and can be paired with anything.
9. Bandeaux (bandeaus) are really in this summer. They are perfect to pair under a sheer top or just to wear under any top. Also, have fun with the colors and prints!
10. I completely forgot to include this in the photo above, but another summer "fashion" essential are sunglasses! At H&M, there are a wide selection of chic sunglasses for a good price!

Employing the yellow polarized, anti-glare lens developed in 1978. 
Paying homage to the original 1937 Ray-Ban Aviators, these light-sensitive photochromatic yellow lenses darken according to the light and temperature. 
Available in four styles, two Aviators, a Shooter, and a Outdoorsman, the Ambermatic collection will release this summer with only 18,000 sunglasses made worldwide. Additionally, this dedicated range will be accompanied by a special anniversary campaign highlighting real-life stories of individuals who dared to defy convention.

When doing this challenge, I didn't realize how much my ordinary everyday makeup routine costs. This challenge was a little hard, but fun!

Quick Tip: Fuller and Softer Looking Lashes

This is a nice technique for those who want that "no make-up" look, while still having your eyes stand out. This gives your lashes a soft and sweet look.
Here's how to get fuller, softer lashes!

• Take your favorite mascara, and wipe of a small bit of the masacra off of your brush, onto the rim of your mascara tube. This will keep you from having clumpy lashes. I like doing either this method or I just use a mascara that's semi-empty. This means that the brush won't be heavily coated with mascara when taking it out of the tube.
• After this is done, put one coat of mascara all over your lashes. If you usually put on lot for one coat, keep your one coat lighter. 
• Immediately after applying mascara to your lashes, go through your outer lashes for one final coat.
• If your lashes still look clumpy, run a eyelash comb through your eyelashes.

Mint colored jeans are really in this season, and are available in many stores.

In the picture, it looks like she's wearing a white bracelet. It pulls the look together.

Even though I can't tell whether or not she's wearing earrings, I think that a pair or delicate mint colored studs would look nice with the outfit.

May 2012 Favorites: Apps

I'm sooo sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I'm been really busy with testing, SAT, upcoming exams, etc. Hopefully I will be able to post more after school end which is in a few weeks. Anyways, enough with the excuses. :P
I decided to do a may favorites for the apps I've been using.
I'm so sorry that this is not a beauty post. I will hopefully be posting more beauty posts later this week!
Here are a couple of my favorite apps:

AOL radio

Scramble with Friends (free)

The great thing is that they are also both free!
AOL radio: When I first got this app, I actually did not like it at all. I recently started using it again, and it has become my favorite radio app. I'm actually not sure why I didn't like it before. I love how you can not only choose from over a 100 radio stations, but at each radio station, if you don't like a song their playing, you can just click for the next song. Would totally recommend it!

Scramble with Friends (free): This one may be fimilar to a lot of you. I've been playing this game against my friends, and the nice thing about it is that each game is short. :)

The collection is a blod take on the classic summer white ensembles.
The collection consist allot of statement-setting jackets and bold bejeweled details.

If you are loving this season’s bold and brash trends, the Zara June 2012 lookbook is worth taking a browse through.The June lookbook consists of a number of white chiffon blouses, tiered ruffle tanks and chunky collared necklaces. Although the silhouettes are simple and elegant, it is all about the striking details in this collection. The jackets range from crisp white linen to rocker-chic studded leather. The series also has splashes of crimson red and exotic animal prints to shake things up.
